Rasanblaj gathers Haitian news into one page. Pòtoprens, the regions and the diaspora, published side by side, updated through the day.

What it does

Every twenty minutes we read the feeds of eleven Haitian news outlets — homeland and diaspora, in English, French and Kreyòl — and put their headlines on one chronological page, newest first. Nothing is written here. Every headline is the publisher's own, and every link goes to their site.

How we treat publishers

We store a headline, a short excerpt taken from the outlet's own feed, and a link. We do not reproduce articles, we do not host them, and we do not put our name on anyone else's reporting. If you publish one of the sources listed on the front page and would rather not appear here, write to us and we will remove you the same day.

What we don't collect

No analytics scripts, no advertising networks, no third-party JavaScript, no cookies except the one that remembers whether you chose English or French. We count requests at the server so we know roughly how many people visit; we don't follow anyone between visits or across sites.
